PhoneShield
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PhoneShield, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
These terms are a legal agreement between you and SS Infotek Inc. We wrote them in simple language so everyone can understand.
License & Property
- Your License: We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use PhoneShield on your device.
- Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the app or any part of it.
- Ownership: This license does not give you ownership. PhoneShield and its code are owned by SS Infotek Inc.
Your Legal Responsibilities
You are responsible for using PhoneShield in accordance with all local, state, and national laws in your country.
- • PhoneShield is designed for personal device security only — to protect YOUR phone from unauthorized access.
- • In some regions, photographing people without their consent may be illegal. Check your local laws before using the app.
- • You must NOT use PhoneShield to monitor other people's phones without their knowledge and consent.
- • You must NOT use PhoneShield for stalking, harassment, or any illegal activity.
- • SS Infotek Inc. is not responsible for any misuse of the app.
Biometric Data Consent
What is Collected: PhoneShield uses on-device AI to create numeric face embeddings for Owner Identity recognition.
Your Consent: By registering your Owner Identity, you consent to the creation and local storage of biometric data on your phone.
Data Stays on Phone: Face data never leaves your phone, and you may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your Owner Identity.
Device Administrator
Why It's Needed: PhoneShield requests Device Administrator privileges to detect failed unlock attempts.
What It Does Not Do: It will never lock your phone, erase your data, or act destructively.
Revoking: You can revoke Device Admin at any time in Settings. Note: revoking disables intruder detection.
Prohibited Uses
- ✗ Use the app to monitor someone else's device without their consent
- ✗ Use captured photos for blackmail, harassment, or illegal purposes
- ✗ Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app
- ✗ Circumvent any security features of the app
- ✗ Use the app in any way that violates local or international law
Limitation of Liability
As-Is: PhoneShield is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that the app will capture every intruder, work on every device, or prevent theft. Results depend on your phone's hardware and settings.
Liability Limit: SS Infotek Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
